Simple DIY Halloween Decorating Tips

Decorating for Halloween is actually quite simple and even the least artsy person can do it. All you need is a little bit of elbow grease and a DIY attitude. Here are three fun DIY Halloween decorations to make in your apartment

Black Cat Pumpkins: purchase a small to medium sized pumpkin and spray paint it black. Next cut out pointy ears from construction paper, paint on a face with whiskers and you have a fun black cat pumpkin.

Balloon Ghost: balloon ghost are simple and fun to make. Blow up a balloon, cover it with a ripped up white trash bag. Hold the head in place with string and face on eyes and a scary mouth. There you have it, a fun ghost to place in a closet on near your front door. You can create a few of these and place them around your apartment.

Animals in a jar: put a large, fake plastic spider in a jar and fill it up with water. Then add some green food coloring and make it look like a formaldehyde animal. These decorations are creepy because they look very real. You might actually scare a guest or two.
