     Constantly finding fun summer activities for you and your friends and family can be time-consuming and difficult. Well, allow us to help! The J. Paul Getty Museum is once again putting on it’s annual, free “Off the 405” concert series through August!
    
     The J. Paul Getty Museum is a fantastic art museum and outdoor venue, located just outside of Pacific Palisades. Each summer the museum presents its “Off the 405” summer concert series, which features diverse artists amid incredible architecture and great sunset views! This year’s lineup includes artists like Reggie Watts, Steve Gunn, and Savory Motel, among many others. Pack a picnic dinner or enjoy one of the restaurants nearby, such as local Italian favorite Peppone Restaurant.
    
    Don’t spend thirty dollars on a concert in a crowded venue, when you can enjoy a free concert underneath the stars!      If you can only take a few hours of the sun and surf before wanting to do something out, try visiting Pacific Palisades. The coastal neighborhood has miles of pristine beaches, and tons to do if you tire of them. If you love art, be sure to check out the Getty Villa, a terrific art museum. On the other hand, Pacific Palisades has tons of great shopping and restaurants as well!

     But if packed beaches and art museums aren’t your thing, why not head a little further north and visit Malibu. While it's true that many of Malibu’s main beaches will be packed on any given weekend, there are a ton of secluded public beaches like Carbon Beach or Escondido! So pack a good book and enjoy the solitude
