Are you looking for easy (and inexpensive) ways to decorate your Woodland Hills apartment this Thanksgiving?  Take a cue from your local farmer’s market or grocery store and use pumpkins and gourds.

Pumpkin carving isn’t just for Halloween.  Pumpkins make great vessels for candles.<\/p>\n

Carve out a medium sized pumpkin and place a candle holder and candle inside.  Place the pumpkin on a large platter and surround it with small pumpkins or gourds and some greens for an easy and festive look.<\/p>\n

Small pumpkins and gourds make great candle holders for votive candles and can be arranged on your table or throughout your apartment.  Be certain that the pumpkin\/gourd is large enough and that the candle holder fits properly for safety.<\/p>\n

You can also find Thanksgiving pumpkin stencils on line or carve your own message.<\/p>\n

Pumpkins make a great vase for a flower arrangement.  Carve out the pumpkin and simply place a vase with flowers inside of your pumpkin or purchase flower foam.<\/p>\n

Pumpkins can be painted using acrylic paint.  Choose metallic paings like gold and silver for a true statement piece.<\/p>\n

Another idea is to stack pumpkins on top of each other for a great accent piece to place in your Woodland Hills apartment.<\/p>\n
