Vaseline: Vaseline will help lock in any moisture and keep your pumpkin alive for longer. Cover any cut edges with the substance once you are done carving.<\/p>\n

Bleach & Water: make a mix of water and bleach–about four tablespoons of bleach for a large bucket. Then soak your pumpkin for eight hours once you finish carving.<\/p>\n

WD-40: this one is surprising, but WD-40 works great on pumpkins. Spray your Jack-O-Lantern down once you are done carving it. Just remember the pumpkin might be flammable and use an LED light instead of a lantern.<\/p>\n
