Woodland Hills is an affluent neighborhood in San Fernando Valley. To the east is Calabassas and Tarzana to the west. To the north it is bordered by West Hills, Canoga Park and Winnetka and on the south by the Santa Monica mountains. It experiencers some of the more extreme temperature changes than other regions.
It is home to several parks that offer children’s playgrounds, biking, hiking and picnicking. It is also home to the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital a nursing and acute care facility dedicated to the industry.
Topanga Canyon Boulevard can bring you to the beach or to Chatsworth and has lots of shopping and eating shoices. It is located near Warner Ranch Park, shadow Ranch Park and Topanga State Park. Conveniently located near 101S, many residents commute into downtown LA.
Nearby grocery stores include Ralphs, Sprouts Farmers Market and Whole Foods Market. There are great coffee choices including Starbucks, Noah’s New York Bagels and Boulangerie. Some great choices for restaurants include Denny’s, Chipotle, Trimana Restaurant, Monty’s Steakhouse, Bistro Orient and Brother Sushi.
