Cinco de Mayo is one of the most popular celebrations in the US, as Americans across the nation are Mexican for the day!  Restaurants open their doors early, tequila and cerveza flow, mariachi bands entertain and we get to enjoy the tastes and sounds of our neighbor south of the border.
