Thanksgiving sides can get a little boring. There’s mashed potatoes, cranberries, stuffing, corn and a few other things. If you eat the same things every year, you might have a craving for something new this year. Well, if you’ve been assigned a side dish to cook (or will be cooking the entire meal), here is a quick garlic green bean recipe to die for.
Directions
Roast four sliced pieces of garlic and a bit of cayenne pepper in a skillet. Throw in 1/4 pounds of green beans, season with salt and some sugar and let cook for three minutes. Now add in 1/4 cup of water and cook the beans for six minutes (use a cover for better results). Next uncover the mix and boil out the remaining water. Season to your liking, toss and serve.
